The process
Same five steps. Every carpet.
01
Pre-inspection
Every job starts with a walk-through. We note fiber, stains, pet areas, and what you want left alone before anything gets wet.
02
Pre-vacuum
As needed, the carpet is thoroughly pre-vacuumed so dry soil is out of the way and we are not washing grit deeper into the pile.
03
Pre-spray and pre-spot
An eco-friendly preconditioner loosens soil. Spots that need more than the general wash get a targeted treatment.
04
Extract and rinse
Low-moisture extraction pulls soil and solution out of the fiber, then a rinse leaves nothing sticky behind.
05
Post inspection
We walk it with you. If a spot still shows, we treat it again before we pack up.

Chris and Chris were amazing! Responsive to my request within the hour. Accurate quote. Great value and did WAYYY BETTER than coit and Stanley steamer for about 1/3 less of the price. Honestly these are old carpets and needed a deep cleaning. The guys were excellent, professional, dried carpets and tidied up. I will be calling them back soon— and when I replace these carpets they will be my regular cleaning pros. Please call— you will NOT be disappointed. Thanks Fresh Step— you breathed life into these old carpets once more. Cheers! -warmest thanks Carla

I had called in the AM to see if they could clean a sectional recliner sofa. Chris was able to come out by the afternoon. He did an excellent job and the sofa smells very nice. My whole apartment had a clean smell from just doing the sofa. Chris was friendly, professional , and personable with excellent customer service. I would use again. Thanks so much!

Chris is very professional, responsive and punctual. He does a very detailed job. This is the second time I've had fresh step carpet cleaning in my house, and I plan to use this service every six months. It's very refreshing to know that there are still trusted people that you can bring into your house that'll do a good job. Thanks Chris, look forward to seeing you again in June. Junior Rowe.

A job well done with great customer service. They went above and beyond to make sure the major issues with our carpet was taken care of and for a reasonable price. This will be my go to from here on.
